Since 2004, Docs Ben and Erin have provided genuine midwestern hospitality, and veterinary care, to the furriest residents of Cedar County, Nebraska at Cedar County Veterinary Services.
In recent years, the couple set their sights on the care and restoration of Hartington’s historic downtown district, and have extended their loving welcome - and some delicious meals - to the community through the revival of the Historic Hotel Hartington and the Globe Clothier building, which now houses Chasin’ Charlie’s General Store.
Now, the Docs are serving up a slice of their prairie home to the world through Nat Geo Wild’s “Heartland Docs, DVM.” The couple hopes to share the beauty and grit of Nebraska, it’s four-legged residents, and their hard working companions, with a world-wide audience - and invites them to experience a taste of Hartington-heaven for themselves.
